The only SH kit I’ve done was their Tempest. It was a nightmare to fit the cockpit assembly in the fuselage and button up. In the end I didn’t fix the cage inside just ground it down to fit and let friction and the fuselage hold in place. Very doubtful if I’ll build another SH……..

Spit is looking amazing Peter, talking old school techniques, ironically I miss sometimes the cleanup and test fitting etc etc. …….we all cut our teeth on these skills and kits are now getting so good with the right set of cutters there is nothing to do but add adhesive………hmmmmm a conundrum, on my part anyway……..and cost of kits will eventually stop the younger generations even a glimpse into the hobby……

Harv, is there room for a dedicated model room? I reckon you need to build the worlds best man cave…….

Stunning Tom, P38 creates a lot of dust, how do you get away with it in the kitchen…….the build is amazing. Having grown up in 3 Group country, the Stirling is a firm favourite…..

Thanks Dennis, unfortunately I cannot use enamels in the house so it’s acrylics for me. I’ll do a test on a mule using gloss acrylic over acrylic and see if it stands up to the vinyl…….btw the markings look amazing……

Thanks Mike, finished the Bofors at the weekend and now moving on to the twin 50’s. I’ve got some Master barrels for those…….

Thanks Peter, I must admit I’m a little wayward as far as following instructions, to many Dragon kits I guess. I found the sales receipt for the kit , 1st March 2016, seven years in the stash……..I’ve just ordered the last of the AM so any week soon and we will be off………

Mike, with you, strip down AB add warm water and a tiny bit of Vallejo cleaner as a last shoot through and done. Never get any residue….and always use acrylics…….
