  1. This build brings back fond memories for me as well! I remember adding mottling with a piece of sponge dipped in Pactra paint. It came out surprisingly well; I was really proud of that one.
  2. IconicAir has just released a Dambuster conversion set! http://www.iconicair.com/hkmd/Index.html?fbclid=IwAR2HGosOBVK2Ru8DW4xhhFLPIhIsUBrjiWm76IVai4XOPiKE3coVAjrf0N8
  3. Pumped is an understatement! I've got three left feet, and I'm still dancing!
  4. Good news, Ernie! Those disasters usually aren't as bad as they appear at the moment they happen. Model on!
  5. So... I think I'll go outside and take some pictures instead.
  6. Very nice builds! I like the display of the box tops - a nice touch. For the money, you can't beat those IKEA Detolf cabinets, either.
  7. One of the most classic lines in movie history.
  8. I agree with the others... The mount for the cowl flaps and engine is about 1mm too high on this kit. Sawing it off and lowering is easy and requires no sanding and/or rescribing.
  9. In the true spirit of modeling, you should throw up your hands, say "I'll get to this later" - and start on the bathroom.
  10. An excellent review, thanks! Historical background is an added bonus. When mine arrives, I'll be curious to see locations of ejector pin marks.
  11. You're such a tease, Harv! Kitchen cabinets? Really? Where are your priorities?
  12. Revell did not have both, Harv. What they DID do was a separate boxing of the Royal Navy Corsair. That boxing had wings that were clipped.
  13. Keep paint of the cement point on the framework, Harv - you'll be glad you did. Also, the nose wheel is a PITA to install when they tell you to do it. See if you can't put it in earlier in the build sequence.
  14. No ideas on what you want, Harv - but NOW is the time to paint the interior color on the body panels! (Ask me how I know...)
  15. I think any of the new tool Hasegawa Japanese fighters would work for you. In addition to the Ki-84 and Ki-44, the J2M3 and N1K2 are great kits!
