I left this one neglected for a while. Now I'm at the weathering stage. The Friuls seem to add an air of heaviness to the kit.

Man... if I had a grand invested in a kit... I'd wanna be building it before the grim reaper decides my time is up!

That's an awesome looking kite! I can't imagine anybody handling it! However, I witnessed at a show this year that all of the winners get carried to the photo table. It kind of gives me resolve to fix my kits to bases in the future so they can be picked up by the base. I can't imagine how you packed that thing to travel. I need to get some memory foam. I can't think of anything else that will provide support and shock absorption. Gaz

Time for another CORSAIR! LOL

Nice Progress, John! I reckon you are the single reason that Tamiya still continues to make Corsairs...lol -

I think it's cool and clunky enough for one. But I really am not that big into the Austro-Hungarian tragedy. But one of their Alb D.III's woul;d be a go-er for sure. The red one with the skull on the side. -

Pallet jack reference for you: You can weather and chip the hell outta them. Image for discussion only. You got a mask cutter? Gaz -

No offense taken, mate. Mood and spirit are easily lost in text. I try not to get to bent out of shape because of different views or trying to read too much into each post. Gaz -

Despite my American heritage, I truly believe that the best music ever made was created by young Englishmen who may or may not have been experimenting with drugs in the late 60's and early 70's. There are some American standouts like Hendrix and the Doors... but I'm sure they may have been experimenting, too. Just the way I feel about it. I experienced too much Country music from the old man's 8-tracks. Gaz -
I tried to use a darker Turqoise on a Russian Turquoise cockpit. Couldn't tell I did anything...lol
