Sorry Ernie. My commiserations! We have a cat, but it's not allowed in the bedroom, nor in the room where my bench is. Bloody things! Gaz -

That camo looks great! Uneven enough to look right, but not so uneven that it looks like it was done on purpose. -
I bought my first set of Masterclub tracks for a near-future t-34 build recently. about half the cost of Friuls they have resin track pins and aren;t made of lead like friuls, so shipping weight is less.

At the end there, I was wondering what a "Bonararium" was. Silly me... Honorarium. There was a speck on my monitor. Too many possibilities for this one...lol

Hi everyone, Three big zimmerit sessions have allowed me to complete three sides of the fighting compartment. I tried a new method this time. Instead of spreading the putty on to as many rows as possible, I did each row individually. The goal was to eliminate a raised ridge between each row of toolmarks. I started with a base row, and locations where interior angles dictated as places to start. Then I went to exterior edges. Once a row is dried, the excess is scraped away leaving tool marks approximately 4mm wide. This is what the rows looked like before trimming away the excess. There were places where a new row would cross over an older row. I would use a water moistened paint brush to clean up the error. But because the putty is always water soluble, it has to be done quickly, and gently with as little water as possible. The end result shows small gaps between the rows that are tells that it was done not by a 54mm tall man, but by a man who is 1950mm tall. I'm hoping that paint and weathering will improve the look. Thanks for looking! Gaz -
It won't be very expensive, there are deals all of the time. BTW... we have our big model show in Queensland in August. Worst thing about NZ are the working man's wages. In many cases it's better to live on the dole I am told by the many Kiwis I work with. Many Kiwis have immigrated to Australia just to find work and an affordable lifestyle. I would say that at my workplace, Kiwis outnumber Australians.

Ah well.... once you're in NZ... we'll almost be neighbors.

Muy bien!

Wow, some great interesting stuff there! Thank you for sharing. Gaz

I apologize... I had assumed you were moving to NZ from a more easterly country. I was born in Germany but haven't been there since I was a few months old.

I'd like to know who left them fingernail marks in the turret.

Then I must be a figment of my own imagination.

Hah! I didn't even see the typo. At my house, the pr0oblem is pet and female hair. I always find something after the paint dries.
