I live on Long Island, New York and Hurricane Henri storm track has been slowly moving to the west and that unfortunately means Henri is targeting the middle of the island. Hopefully the track might change again to the east but the forecast doesn't look good.  The hurricane should hit us sometime late tomorrow, shore and beach areas have received evacuation notices. Going to be a bad weekend. 🌩️

Thanks Carl

Fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Hoping the storm moves to the east, put it out over the ocean when it passes us and maybe not too serve in New England which is just north of us.

Thanks Guys

We're as safe and ready as we can be. We live on the North Shore of Long Island and of course in Suffolk County and hanging in there.

Hi Guys

We surely dodge a bullet here on the island. Henri was first downgraded to a bad tropical storm around 2AM and then the storm track changed to NNE and out of Block Island and then into Rhode Island. Still some heavy rain in areas and some winds but nothing as predicted. Of course our luck was someones else's misfortune.

Today lots of rain and pretty gusty as we're getting the tail end of Henri. Hopefully by late today it should be over.

Hang in there Peter and stay safe! :)

Tennessee surely was clobbered with rain and floods, resulting in a lot of deaths and property damage. We had areas here on the island that received 6.5 inches of rain today and thank goodness, no loss of life.

Some late day thunderstorms and tonight we should be clearing.

6.5 inches is still a lot of rain! 😲

That's about 3 months worth for us and Scotland isn't the driest place in the world! Although I do live in the driest part of it.

Thanks Guys

It's hurricane season and just so glad we we able to dodge a bullet. The rain after the majority of the storm had past was close to a record for us.
