harv Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 Thanks Oliver.. yes,, trying to set all in place as a trial fit.....harv 1
Bomber_County Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Harv, great to see the old master back at the bench……that’s one big bundle of resin etc to squeeze in…….definitely watching this one……… 2 1
harv Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 Yes, it's bitten me in the ass a few times !.....harv 2
Kaireckstadt Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Now you’re back to the bench and your progress is awesome Harv! Curious how it will go on! 2 1
harv Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 Thanks Kai. Yes, you and me both......harv 4 1
harv Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Thanks Gaz. I started to glue the bottom on one side tonight. It's the easiest starting point I could go. Have no instructions with this resin. It's a work in progress thing.....harv 5
harv Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Well I am closer than I was yesterday!......harv 🤣 1 4
harv Posted September 18, 2021 Author Posted September 18, 2021 Thats right. I'm helping out with build to hopefully change that....harv 2 1
harv Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 I did get the bottom attached to the one side. The floor is not glued in yet, still fitting it. I'll have a bit of sanding and cleanup on the outside bottom....harv 10
BlrwestSiR Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Now that's definitely jumping into the deep end. Using an AM set and being the guy who gets to write the instructions as he goes. Good plan on gluing the fuselage floor to one side. That should help with placing stuff. Carl 4 1
Kaireckstadt Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Copy Carl Harv: great idea to make fit easier! 2 1
Peterpools Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Harv So you're writing the instructions - now 'ain't that something' Keep 'em comin Peter 3
Martinnfb Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Ambitious project Harvey, me likey . 3 1
harv Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Before I go any further, there is something I need to cover about the resin parts,I.E. the ceiling. When using this conversation, it is necessary to move the ceiling up 7 mm. Fly got it wrong. All the parts for transmission are printed with the correct placement in mind.....harv 6 3
Peterpools Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Harv Nice going on the correction - I still wonder why kit manufactures make such errors in today's age of can and scanning. Keep 'em comin Peter 4 1
harv Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 No pics, just dry fitting the sid windows. Haven't touched it for a couple of days. I have been dealing with severe pain in my left leg for a month. Turns out I had 2 blockages and needed a rotorooter job done on the veins. I'm much better now but sore as hell. So I'll be back to the bench in a couple of days.....harv 4 3
DocRob Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 All the best Harv, we are waiting for you returning to the bench. Cheers Rob 2 1
