Bomber_County Posted June 10, 2022 Author Posted June 10, 2022 Thanks Gus and Harv, I think I’ll wait until the relative dies back a little before contemplating another Trumpeter large scale kit. Weather looking good for some booth action whilst listening to the 2nd Test Match……………Test match, a game that could take up to 5 days to complete and then end in a draw……..love it…… 2
GusMac Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Given England's recent batting form 5 days is maybe optimistic Phil, unless Joe bats 4.5 of them! 2

GusMac Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Hopefully Lees can finally go on and make a score after getting a start again. If Root comes in at 200 for 2 then it's game on I think. 2
Bomber_County Posted June 19, 2022 Author Posted June 19, 2022 I think I’m happy with the priming? The wing roots were a PITA……. The gunbay covers are PE so just blue tacked in position….. 7
Peterpools Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Phil Primer coats looks smooth and ready for the color. Glad the weather improved so the air brush work can keep rolling along Keep 'em comin Peter 2
DocRob Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Nice and smooth Phil, time for some colors . Cheers Rob 3
KevinM Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Trump kits are a hit and miss Phil but you have it go'in on this one! 3
GazzaS Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Looks good, Phil! Leaving the gun bays open? I would hate trying to get PE covers to fit the airfoil perfectly. 3

The roots took 3 attempts, I may just revisit again…… 2

On the Wildcat it was only the tray covers which were hinged……I think…. 2

Bill_S Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 It looks great, Phil! Trumpy's 1/32 kits can be hit or his; they definitely used their A team on the TBF/TBM kits. 2

Appreciated Bill, I was surprised at the part count on this one, it has been a bit hit and miss on this as well…….. 2
Bomber_County Posted July 26, 2022 Author Posted July 26, 2022 On holiday for a couple of weeks, so in between days out time to start clearing the backlog in the booth……. I think I have enough modulation on the u/s of the Wildcat???? 8
Peterpools Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Phil Undersides look really good, neat, clean and no seams at all. Color modulation ... hope you're pulling our leg. For me. looks great. 2

GazzaS Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Looks great. Phil. I’d be interested to see how dirty these birds got underneath. Recently I’ve rediscovered a fondness for pastels. Ima gonna try some on my next aircraft model. 3
