Trumpeter F4F-3 Late - 1/32nd

Recommended Posts

Thanks Gus and Harv, I think I’ll wait until the relative dies back a little before contemplating another Trumpeter large scale kit. Weather looking good for some booth action whilst listening to the 2nd Test Match……………Test match, a game that could take up to 5 days to complete and then end in a draw……..love it……

Given England's recent batting form 5 days is maybe optimistic Phil, unless Joe bats 4.5 of them!

90 for 1 and trailing by 463…….let’s get to lunch tomorrow and see, if we are three or four down then as Private Fraser used to say………..

Primer coats looks smooth and ready for the color. Glad the weather improved so the air brush work can keep rolling alon

Thanks Peter, ironically the weather last Friday was 33 degrees followed by Sunday at 14 degrees. The roots took 3 attempts, I may just revisit again……

Trump kits are a hit and miss Phil but you have it go'in on this one!:notworthy:

Thanks Kevin, this hasn’t been to bad. As I think Ernie said once, a true shake and bake kit tends to become boring after a while…….

Looks good, Phil!  Leaving the gun bays open?  I would hate trying to get PE covers to fit the airfoil perfectly.

Thanks Gaz, the Eduard covers are thin and I’ve preformed them, I think they will be ok. On the Wildcat it was only the tray covers which were hinged……I think….

It looks great, Phil! Trumpy's 1/32 kits can be hit or his; they definitely used their A team on the TBF/TBM kits.

Appreciated Bill, I was surprised at the part count on this one, it has been a bit hit and miss on this as well……..

Looks great. Phil.  I’d be interested to see how dirty these birds got underneath.  Recently I’ve rediscovered a fondness for pastels.  Ima gonna try some on my next aircraft model.
