Well, at the verge of 2021 ending, there`s some news that will be a reality in 2022, so it makes sense to creat this topic now...

And the "first of 2022" is Das Werk Pz III in 1:16...

There's a new P-47 bubbletop coming out from Miniart.

It looks to be up to their usual standards even if it's 1/48.

I've built a couple. Occasionally some very tiny parts but the overall fit and engineering on the ones I've done have been excellent.

Parts counts can get a bit insane on some of their full interior kits though.

Just read that Ammo is coming out with 1:2 and 1:1 Instrument panels : WWII. I don’t believe they are kits at all but meant to be wall displayed. Interesting for sure and I have no idea what they cost.

Keep ‘em comin

Peter

They look to be around 70-80 euros for the 1:1 versions and roughly half that for the smaller scale. They look nice but a bit 'plasticky' to my eye.

Very temped by that just because we've holidayed in Normandy quite a few times and Caen is a lovely town. Has a great model/fantasy shop that my son used to badger us to make sure we visited each time. Thought of painting all those cobbles makes my eyeballs itch though!
