BlrwestSiR Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Nice haul there Peter. I'd be curious to know how quiet the compressor is as I'm considering a new one. Carl 5
Peterpools Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Carl The new compressor is so quiet, I don’t even know it’s on and running. Well worth the cost and highly recommended Keep ‘em comin Peter 3 1

They were in the mailbox today when I got home. As much as I like the Dspiae ones, these seem to get into tighter spots a bit easier. And they're less than 1/2 the price. My current pair cut so close to the surface, that I can often skip sanding the part after. I love my pair of these, I don’t cut large sprue gates though……I use a bigger set and go in with there beauties after… 4

Peterpools Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Phil Nothing like good tools - makes the job at hand much easier and more enjoyable. Still bouncing back and forth between the Whirlwind and the Tempest Mk.II and I already have the Sea Fury in the display case - Fisher Models - my favorite build by far. Keep 'rm comin Peter 3

Honestly I probably have more than I need but keep buying them. 6

BlrwestSiR Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Got a package from HLJ the other day. A bit of variety in terms of subjects. First up is something on four wheels. Back in '93, a Japanese garage kit maker made a beautiful T-Rex skeleton model. It was about $200 at the time. I found one in a store in Hong Kong but didn't get it at the time. Bandai just released this 1/32 kit for 1/4 the price and twice the size. Lastly, another Zoids kit. They've got great box art that's for sure. 8
AlanG Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Got this book today to help me with a JV44 project 9
Peterpools Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Now if the puppy could use the micro tool and do the scribing for Martin in small, tight spots - now that would be something. 🙃 Keep ‘em comin Peter 3 2
