Yes I know they’re for the D version, but plenty of them will work just fine. Onward with the build! They actually work for a lot of planes, same with leftover F4U decals. 5
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 24, 2018 Author Administrators Posted September 24, 2018 OK, how do you tell when you’re done building a “garage resin” kit? When you look around and realize there are no more parts left to fit. Everything’s just fitted together without glue, just friction. I’m actually making this harder than I need to because I’m using a lot of AM and getting it to fit is tough 6
DocRob Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Nice, everything seems to fit in and the gaps between the fuselage halves don't look to be problematic. When you are not anymore covered with resin dust, you know you are almost there . Cheers Rob 4
TJTX Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Very nice indeed. Perhaps someday I'll get the cajones ti try a resin kit. 4
Peterpools Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Ernie Nice wirk on taping her up closed - fit looks mighty good. Just love following your progress. Promise you won’t get sidetracked on any other projects until the Mustang crosses the line. Keep ‘em comin Peter 3

Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 1, 2018 Author Administrators Posted October 1, 2018 Just to show I haven’t been completely idle, we do have this little pic from today. I’m just working on some of the interior items, getting them together so we can start detailing. 3
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 1, 2018 Author Administrators Posted October 1, 2018 The bench hasn’t been used much lately, but we continue.... 2
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 1, 2018 Author Administrators Posted October 1, 2018 And I dragged this out, just to get PeterPools all worked up and Smitty and Martin salivating. And it’s one of my favorite jets of all time Maybe next year, who knows. But not till I have a clear bench 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 1, 2018 Author Administrators Posted October 1, 2018 A brand new Aero Vodochny and a beat up old Antonov ought to be enough to bring back memories. 1
