I can't recall if the tanks gave me any issues. I think the firewalls might have been reversed as far as which one goes on what side but other than that, it went together nicely.

I had just finished building it and left it on the dining table while I tried to figure out where to put it. He was around two at the time so kind of hard to blame him.

Trying to complete the big Mossie wing.

When you drop flaps and deflect the ailerons the fit is ok, but when trying to show everything retracted it becomes more difficult.

I'm happy with the flaps but I am now trying to get the aileron gap the same, you can the the slightly darker line one the left compared to the other. Will probably resort to strip to get the gaps tighter.

My meager contribution to the tread:

Doggo, he is my wife's best buddy, but he hangs with me when I'm home and wife is at work!

Revell Mustang.... Not a great kit, but it looks like a 'stang!

Revell Lynx.... Decals are total ass... I hate them. with a passion.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Harald. Cool looking Lynx and the dog's pretty cool too.

Have to agree about the Revell decals as well. Some are overly thick and others just fall apart when moistened and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to either.

Maybe this will be my next project. I always wanted to build the Arado 234, but why now. The answer is easy, I want to do the Fly kit before somebody (namely ZM) is tempting me with their version.

I will do a nightfighter version, but am not decided if it will be mottled or splinter camoed.

So far the kit looks great, the plastic is a little crude in some areas, but that's no real deal breaker. the numerous resin parts look great, finely detailed and on some you don't even have to remove the cast plugs.

If you do a two seater version, you have to do some fuselage surgery,.....

I'm going to far in this thread, maybe I do a WIP.

Cheers Rob

1/72 is too small for my numb hands. The aerial gave me hell!

That's why I'm leaving my 1/72 kits for my sons. They have much better vision than I ever had.

Nice job on your Spitfire Dale.
