Wumm
A figure... From MJ Miniatures. Rather than the usual Field Grey, I think I may give him a Zeltbahn or Autumn Plane Tree pattern Anorak? Hmmm...

Ryan
I honestly was minding my own business, reading from the book of “finish a kit” 4:17 and this HK Mosquito tapped on my shoulder and corrupted me.
BlrwestSiR
Ryan, is that the IV or the later version? I enjoyed building my IV. My son enjoyed taking it on its maiden flight almost as much. Carl
Ryan
MK IV, it’s a real treat so far. Eesh on the maiden flight story! Did you have a time fitting the fuel tank block into the wing, mine was a real bear...very tight.
BlrwestSiR
I can't recall if the tanks gave me any issues. I think the firewalls might have been reversed as far as which one goes on what side but other than that, it went together nicely. I had just finished building it and left it on the dining table while I tried to figure out where to put it. He was around two at the time so kind of hard to blame him.
Ryan
I'll watch out for the fire walls.

Ryan
Trying to complete the big Mossie wing. When you drop flaps and deflect the ailerons the fit is ok, but when trying to show everything retracted it becomes more difficult. I'm happy with the flaps but I am now trying to get the aileron gap the same, you can the the slightly darker line one the left compared to the other. Will probably resort to strip to get the gaps tighter. Mossie by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr
Sir Desmond Glazebrook
Here is the 1/32 Trumpeter Douglas SBD-3. I have just begun. There are a few 1/48 scale kits as well on my shelf of doom.
Winnie
My meager contribution to the tread: Doggo, he is my wife's best buddy, but he hangs with me when I'm home and wife is at work! Revell Mustang.... Not a great kit, but it looks like a 'stang! Revell Lynx.... Decals are total ass... I hate them. with a passion. Cheers! GusMac
Welcome to the forum Harald. Cool looking Lynx and the dog's pretty cool too. Have to agree about the Revell decals as well. Some are overly thick and others just fall apart when moistened and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to either.

DocRob
Maybe this will be my next project. I always wanted to build the Arado 234, but why now. The answer is easy, I want to do the Fly kit before somebody (namely ZM) is tempting me with their version. I will do a nightfighter version, but am not decided if it will be mottled or splinter camoed. So far the kit looks great, the plastic is a little crude in some areas, but that's no real deal breaker. the numerous resin parts look great, finely detailed and on some you don't even have to remove the cast plugs. If you do a two seater version, you have to do some fuselage surgery,..... I'm going to far in this thread, maybe I do a WIP. Cheers Rob

Sir Desmond Glazebrook
I completed my student's Spitfire today. (I am aware soft edge is incorrect. The boy won't care) The carpet monster ate the pitot tube.
Sir Desmond Glazebrook
1/72 is too small for my numb hands. The aerial gave me hell!
BlrwestSiR
Rob, I built the Arado a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see you work on it. If ZM do come out with one, I'll just have to build another. Carl

BlrwestSiR
In conjunction with the arrival of my 1/20 Macross kit, I'm currently working on a more typical scale one. This is the VF-19 from the later series Macross Plus.

GazzaS
I've been in a strange mood lately... Anyway... working on ICM's 1/48 scale Dornier 217N1 with the AIMS N2/R22 conversion. All of the darker gray bits are resin. Schräge Musik anyone?
