GazzaS Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 I've been working on these two kits for a while; Cheers! 8
biggtim Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 So, what exactly is the prize for showing what's on my bench? Cuz there's a LOT of stuff on my bench, and that would be a big effort!! 4

GusMac Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Don't care what the scale is .... that's impressive PE work! 3

NO PE, all brass work pictured except the Aber barrel assembly on the M2 is scratch built from brass sheet, tubes and angles. The nuts and bolts are from Model Motor Cars. Barry 6

Your attention to detail is out of this world. Seeing the nice shine of the brass, it's almost a shame to paint it later. Cheers Rob 3

HubertB Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Two at a time ? Now that’s ambitious ... Hubert 4 1

I stalled out a year and a half ago and they've sat next to my work bench since. Here's where I left off: My New Year's resolution was to try and finish off as many stalled builds as I could. Here's hoping... 8

I did that last year, I just didn’t start anything new, just the GB. It can work but needs willpower, sounds like life.......... 6
Sir Desmond Glazebrook Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Nothing like the fine art above (nice set up Harv). BARRY! I misplaced Frank's propellor. I ordered another kit from Japan, it should be here in about 10 days. I'm not in a hurry, and better, I have had zero desire to work on anything else. I am really pleased about that. 5

BlrwestSiR Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I've run into a slight issue with the 109 so I've revisited some ordnance for a Spitfire IX. My first try is in the background. With a quick wash/stain and then followed up with some clear orange. Then masking for the straps. And done: 5
