So, what exactly is the prize for showing what's on my bench? Cuz there's a LOT of stuff on my bench, and that would be a big effort!!

Thank you Harv!

To bad the HPH 1/48 B-52 is not a "D" model or I would have me one for a U-Tapao BUFF!

Don't care what the scale is ....  that's impressive PE work!

Thank you sir!

NO PE, all brass work pictured except the Aber barrel assembly on the M2 is scratch built from brass sheet, tubes and angles. The nuts and bolts are from Model Motor Cars.

A clear 10 on the wow scale. You start to get me interested into a subject, I normally wouldn't have cared about. Your attention to detail is out of this world. Seeing the nice shine of the brass, it's almost a shame to paint it later.

Cheers Rob

What did you use to open up the cowl openings, if any ?.......

Martin did it for me. He had the correct sized file so he graciously radiused them along with his own kit

Two at a time ? Now that’s ambitious ...

Hubert

Overly ambitious to be honest.  I stalled out a year and a half ago and they've sat next to my work bench since. Here's where I left off:

My New Year's resolution was to try and finish off as many stalled builds as I could. Here's hoping...

I did that last year, I just didn’t start anything new, just the GB. It can work but needs willpower, sounds like life..........

Nothing like the fine art above (nice set up Harv).

BARRY! :unworthy:

I misplaced Frank's propellor. I ordered another kit from Japan, it should be here in about 10 days. I'm not in a hurry, and better, I have had zero desire to work on anything else. I am really pleased about that. :)

So far I've finished 3 kits that were previously started so I'm making a bit of headway.

I've run into a slight issue with the 109 so I've revisited some ordnance for a Spitfire IX.

My first try is in the background.

With a quick wash/stain and then followed up with some clear orange.

Then masking for the straps.

What ya filling 'em with?

Well, if I'm aiming for accuracy it's should be beer.

I don't think the RAF ever few casks of scotch over to France after D-Day. At least probably not by Spitfire.

If you try to take those things on an aeroplane you're gonna get busted.

Beautiful work.
