  1. Is this the plane of Pips Priller? Interesting scheme!
  2. Well Kevin, I learned a lot now. There couldn‘t be any other more reliable source than yours! Thanks for the Info!
  3. I learn a lot from your builds, Gaz! Intersting scheme and looking very nice so far! 65/02/71 is a scheme I‘ve never seen on a 190 before. Do you have a picture how the scheme will look in the end?
  4. Great progress, Kevin! Nearing completion of construction! In my eyes silver is the correct color for the straps since they were made from aluminum. Hoping to see the next progress step soon!
  5. Looking gorgeous Carl! Nice idea with leaving off some of the duckbills!
  6. Me too! Will become an interesting build!
  7. That’s what I call progress. Looks really impressive what you did up to now. It‘s just sit back and enjoy!
  8. That looks awesome Rowdy. Just like the real plane. It’s really an exceptional build. Will you put it in a diorama? The open engine-bay cries for that!
  9. That’s what I call surgery! Very well done Gaz!
  10. That’s the best news of the week! Get well soon, Harv!
  11. Yes, Gaz, I have 1 1/2 in my stash (all with minimal rigging ): A Fokker DVII and a WingnutMeng Fokker DrI with a Bust of von Richthofen. They look so good (like yours and Robs and Mikes) and colorful when build. I should really try one when the Mirage is finished. BTW: You were also building a ship, weren’t you? How far is it? And what about your tank?
  12. Great that you start immediately with the build! I can imagine that good reference is a basis for this build. But seems that you are well equipped! Nice start with the floor and I guess a lot of scratchbuilding will be necessary. I hope that you will post the progress soon !
  13. Congratulations Rob to this exceptional build! The finished Bird looks really awesome! It’s so colorful and has lots of gorgeous details.
  14. Not much progress Ian, but looking really great! Love the details you added and nice weathering too! BTW: Which colors do you use? The RAF interior green looks spot on. I was happy that I didn’t need the Bomb-Aiming-Sight for my Lanc. The HK one needs much attention! Looking forward to seeing your next update! Cheers Kai
  15. Awesome Fokker, Gaz! Didn’t know that you also build WWI! Will also have to look to the WNW in progress in the future! You really build everything, don’t you?Aircraft, ships, armour,... Amazing!
  16. Peter That sounds nice. We have exactly the same stuff! The book is also a very good source. I also bought the decal-set from Raanan which includes a lot of options. I was also thinking about a colorful bare metal one but I love the 3-tone Israeli camouflage schemes (as well as the SEA-schemes of the US Air Force). Kai
  17. Be honest, Mike: This is a photo of the real plane taken in a museum. Beautifully done! I‘m speechless
  18. Thanks for your feedback, Peter! Are you going to build an Israeli too ? If you have the bangseat from Isracast you don’t need the straps and buckles set. I‘ve bought mine in vain (because I purchased IsraDecal and -Cast later...). Also much of the exterior set not needed because detail (e.g. wheel-wells) of the kit is very nice. Will come back to this in the progress of the build.
  19. She’s a real beauty and the Jeep too! Nice idea with the baseplate. Absolutely gorgeous Jeroen!
  20. Wow, a 32nd Scale Stirling? This will be a treat to see! Please start as soon as possible
  21. Dear Gaz, thanks a lot for the video-link and your explanations. With your tips it doesn’t seem to be too complicated. As soon as I have a model on my desk which should get a bare-metal finish I will test it. Thanks again and cheers Kai
  22. Last night I finished the installation of all Eduard-Brass in the cockpit. Will go on with painting of it now. The bangseat is a MB MK4 from Isracast. Will also get paint.
  23. That’s the problem. Who can’t read has to do extra work. But as long as it doesn’t cost money... Hope you enjoyed the pictures I‘m not sure, so please tell me what was delivered
  24. And where is the foto of the tail-rotor of the model ? Awesome work!
  25. Here are some fotos out of a really good book from Wingleader. The pictures show that the windows were present and sometimes even overpainted. I think you really have to find fotos of the thing you want to build if you want to be sure. Do you have the production no available (e.g. ED 932) available? Maybe I can help you because I have a lot of literature. Also Ian might be a better source (am I right Ian ?). So here are the fotos and come back if you need further help. Cheers Kai
