Jeroen Painting and masking look fantastic. I’m in the middle of a major renovation on our home and of course, everything is taking longer then planned but it should be done in a few months time. Diane and I have been waiting a very long time to have the renovation done and it’s our dream for sure. Keep ‘em comin Peter -

Carl Completely agree with the majority of my stash now being 48th scale jets, props 48 & 32 about even in number and 72nd starting to come on board as well. Just so much more available in 48th scale these days as that seems to be is where the manufactures are focusing their resources on. . Keep 'em comin Peter

Jeroen Love the way you use the panel wash, both accenting the details and creating highlights and shadows; going to give it a try when I get back to building. Keep ‘em comin Peter -

Very nice progress - head and eyes looking good. Keep ‘em comin Peter -
Jerry That is the line of Vallejo metals I use for brush painting. I don’t have the colors just a few: aluminums and silver which work well. I’m leaning more and more towards the Tamiya Metals these days. Keep ‘em comin Peter

Rob You F4 is looking tremendous and what a smooth finish after wet sanding. I needed to rethink a bit and while I prefer to use my panel washes before I seal the decals, I do test them to be on the safe side that the PLW will not interact with the decal inks. You're so right in that all the clear layers can fill the panel lines and cause an issue. When I'm not sure what to do, I have no hesitations about using water based washes: Flory and UMP and no worries. Of course, another great reason for using masks. Keep 'em comin Peter- 177 replies

I’m in the early stages of having my “cave” built as part of our renovation. I’m planning on building a few sets of wall mounted paint racks and I’ll post photos when done, but’s it’s still a ways away before I can occupy the my new model cave. Keep ‘em comin Peter -
For brush painting, Vallejo and Tamiya lacquers to be the two top contenders. Keep ‘em comin Peter

John Drives me crazy all the time. I didn’t even know Floquil paints and thinners were still available. I use to use them all the time, especially when I was into model railroading many, many , many years ago and they were my number one paint. I’ll do some looking myself and see what I might be able to find. Keep ‘em comin Peter
