  4. Kai Your dedication to the Mirage build is extraordinary and of course, as well as your abilities to resolve the endless sea of fit issues and problems. Thank goodness at least one part actually fit with no issues; the tail. Can’t wait to see her in the paint shop where all your hard work will come shining through Keep ‘em comin Peter
  5. Phil Can’t wait to see your Mustang out of the paint shop - she is looking so good. Nothing like a NMF and my money is riding on you.. The kit fit looks mighty good and I’m hoping my ZM Owl’s fit comes close to yours, as I’m sure the builder had a lot to do with the results. Finally have enough done for pics of the DB603 engines and getting the build thread going. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  6. Kev Still catching up ... terrific work on your A6 - looking just the part. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  7. Wolfe Awesome work and nothing short of your high standards. Your Honda could easily pass as the real deal if you didn’t spill the beans about it being a Tamiya kit. Looking forward to you hitting the bench and diving back into some of your started projects. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  8. Phil Thanks for trying. Can’t fight city hall Peter
  9. Mark Looking forward to the next update - just love the build. I posted on Phil's P-38 (48th scale build) that the NON Large Scale Build forum should be move to just after the aircraft and armor forum as it's a build thread with loads of great work and burring at the bottom of he ladder, so few of the guys ever seem to stop by and check out the builds. Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. Phil Great plan and the PE screens look so good. This is why I kept posting the NON Large Scale Forum needs to be moved to be just after Armor and aircraft builds - this is a build forum and right now, it's buried where so few of the guys even look. I just don't understand why it was placed at the bottom of the pile, when there is such excellent work being done. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Mark Geez - incredible work. Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. WOW! Gorgeous work Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Phil Nice choice and a surprise for me passing up the Tamiya kit but I understand your reasoning plus having the Eduard kit in the already in the stash. Will be following with great interest Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Hubert Top notch work as always. 3D printing is way beyond my generation abilities and at 73, learning seems to be out of the question, as I'm happy to be able to solve simple computer problems at times. Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. Frank Simply stellar work. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Ceese Awesome progress on the wings. The pic with you holding the wing panel drove home how BIG the kit actually is. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Mike Amazing work. An eye patch would be perfect Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Gaz Great approach to the struts - nerves of steel for sure. I'm pulling up a seat for the build and leaving a big tip for good seating Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Martin It's always a benefit to have the right tool for the job on hand - your choice is perfect. Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Thanks Gaz Appreciate all the information and help. Will be going to give it a try and see how it goes in the near future. Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Rob Rob, each update is a tutorial on how to paint and weather - just don't stop Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Kai You have overcome so many obstacles and fit issues, no question your No No question, your Mirage will cross the finish line. Italeri’s poor engineering is one thing and can’t be excused but the poor fit of the Isracast’s AM parts Is the same! I now have resting in my stash, the kit and the Isracast parts and seeing what work and aggravation you have gone through, I have no desire in the near future of tackling such a frustrating and poorly engineered kit. Down the road, who knows. For me, I do work in other scales, especially large jets - just helps keep the fun factor up and the juices flowing for me. After the ZM He 219 now on the bench, two 48th Tamiya Tomcats await their turn. Being away from the hobby for over a few years and after getting down to building again, I keep asking myself : where are the NEW Tamiya 32nd scale kits and not just releasing variants of previously issued kits? Most awaited new kit for me is Tamiya’s 1/48 F-4B and I’m willing to bet the fit Is perfect and the issues (intakes as an example) will never appear. A rework of their ancient Tomcat would also be a welcome gem. Please excuse my off topic ramblings as it is 1:205 AM - tired but can’t sleep. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  23. Looking mighty nice Keep ‘em comin Peter
  24. Gsz Looking so good. Thanks for the tip on using “student paints” and will be giving them a shot Keep ‘em comin Petrr
