PZL P.11c - Polish Fighter - IBG - 1/32
BlrwestSiR replied to DocRob's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Looks good there Rob. I like the shield for the engine. For Tamiya primer, it also comes in bottles. It does need to be thinned but that may be another option for you. Carl -

I stopped by the LHS yesterday and asked if they had an estimated price for the Border kit. They said they expect it to be between $1100-1200 CAD when it arrives. They're planning to do preorders with $100 off on e they have a finalized price. -

CF-18 439 Sqn Tiger Meet
BlrwestSiR replied to BlrwestSiR's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Been a while since I've done anything on the Hornet. I finally started on fitting the LERX. First step was to get some paint on the upper parts of the intakes that will get covered by the LERX. Then I glued on the upper halves of the LERX. I'll wait til they're dry and then add the lower halves.- 85 replies

Happy birthday Ron! I didn't know those were a factory build. I always thought they were a conversion like those half VW Beetle thingys. Carl -

Oddly enough, most Asians don't drink bourbon. Scotch has a huge toehold in Asia. For the longest time, Hong Kong was the biggest market for Johnny Walker. Carl

Haven't picked up anything new in a while as I've got way too much. I am curious to hear about new bourbons and scotches though. Carl

Fantastic work there Mark. Carl

At just under 19ft long, I could fit one in our garage. But getting it into the garage would be another story. At least I don't have that issue with my Beat. But it's only 9ft long. Carl -
Looks good there Harv. Glad to see you back at then bench. Carl

A quick mock up. All the stock chrome work has to be re-done as I had to sand off lots of heavy mould seams. Mind you, I'm liking the look of it in black. -

Looks great Mark. I'm also liking the different approach to the cockpit assembly that Jetmads has used. Carl

Not enough Caddies on here so here's one from the SoD. The original metallic pink was a fail so it's been in the box for the last 20 years or so. Stripped it and shot a new coat of primer. Here's the chassis from where I left off.
