  1. Who ordered the well done?
  2. The Airfix one is fairly recent. https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AX05130?result-token=qSsPZ Even has Pearl Harbor decals in the box.
  3. What Smitty said. Wait for the Great Wall kit.
  4. Thanks Rob! Yes, the LERX is the extension in front of the wings. It stands for Leading Edge Root Extension. Carl
  5. Looks good there Rob. I like the shield for the engine. For Tamiya primer, it also comes in bottles. It does need to be thinned but that may be another option for you. Carl
  6. I stopped by the LHS yesterday and asked if they had an estimated price for the Border kit. They said they expect it to be between $1100-1200 CAD when it arrives. They're planning to do preorders with $100 off on e they have a finalized price.
  7. Looks good so far. Nice job on the fuselage/tail seam. That one got me on the one I did. Carl
  8. Just let me know when you make it to Canada and I'll have a glass ready and waiting for you!
  9. Been a while since I've done anything on the Hornet. I finally started on fitting the LERX. First step was to get some paint on the upper parts of the intakes that will get covered by the LERX. Then I glued on the upper halves of the LERX. I'll wait til they're dry and then add the lower halves.
  10. Happy birthday Ron! I didn't know those were a factory build. I always thought they were a conversion like those half VW Beetle thingys. Carl
  11. You guys are always welcome to help put a dent in it.
  12. Oddly enough, most Asians don't drink bourbon. Scotch has a huge toehold in Asia. For the longest time, Hong Kong was the biggest market for Johnny Walker. Carl
  13. Haven't picked up anything new in a while as I've got way too much. I am curious to hear about new bourbons and scotches though. Carl
  14. Fantastic work there Mark. Carl
  15. A very nice looking Tiger. Carl
  16. At just under 19ft long, I could fit one in our garage. But getting it into the garage would be another story. At least I don't have that issue with my Beat. But it's only 9ft long. Carl
  17. Looks good there Harv. Glad to see you back at then bench. Carl
  18. A big stonkin' cannon for the Caddie Actually it's for whenever ZM finally release the HS129 with the Pak75.
  19. You can never have enough blutac. Carl
  20. A quick mock up. All the stock chrome work has to be re-done as I had to sand off lots of heavy mould seams. Mind you, I'm liking the look of it in black.
  21. Going for something different. Countach rims wouldn't fit
  22. Guess this is the opposite of a pink Cadillac
  23. Nice! Any luck finding the big Hasegawa kit?
  24. Looks great Mark. I'm also liking the different approach to the cockpit assembly that Jetmads has used. Carl
  25. Not enough Caddies on here so here's one from the SoD. The original metallic pink was a fail so it's been in the box for the last 20 years or so. Stripped it and shot a new coat of primer. Here's the chassis from where I left off.
