Lovely finish. The enamels have a real depth to the colour finish they give.

Thanks Rob, although there has been a bit of a change in plan for this after I got this book and accompanying paint set from the kids for Christmas. It's got me in the mood to try a real rusty civilian version of this such as these examples So instead of a Greek AMX-30 on the back it will have this.... Never built anything remotely like this but elmarriachi did some great builds of similar industrial subjects, so in at the deep end I go! My thought is it's going to be completely a 'what if' so I can weather as much or as little as I want and can't be wrong.

Long time since I posted any progress on this as I got on a roll finishing off the A7. Anyway this is the current status - all basic construction done including all the wheels. God, there are a lot of wheels! Tractor Apologies, these last two are out of focus. The anti-slip plates were scratched using PE from Royal Model in Italy. The string is a bit 'fluffy' but I'm hoping I can tone that down with the paint. Trailer Next step is priming with Ammo's rust primer.

Just as well they were empty as well or he may not have been on the ground for long!

Really nice finish on the intakes. -
Unless the problem with the Norwegian Blue was that it wasn't assembled correctly?!?

What ya filling 'em with? -
Nice catch Dale. Not a vehicle really designed for the roads in the Ardennes. Made great roadblocks and pillboxes but that was about it. Too big for every bridge in the place.

They were very funny back in the 90s before Hugh Laurie went 'Hollywood'.

Looking forward to this. Heard it's a nice kit but helos have a space issue for me unless you can fold the rotors. Only helicopter I've ever been in. Many, many moons ago I got a lift in an Air Sea Rescue one during a mountain rescue. Just about the noisiest thing I've ever experienced - probably only Motorhead concerts beat it!

What do you consider is the meanest tank in history?

You beat me to it. That's exactly my thought when I see these. Not as environmentally friendly as Wall-E either! -

Lovely. Like the kill markings as all the Eddies from the albums up to that one - nice touch. -

Don't care what the scale is .... that's impressive PE work! -
Our nearest town has a lovely memorial to Bamse, a St Bernard, who served with the Free Norwegian naval forces during WWII.

So sorry to hear your news Dale but hopefully the liver function proves to be something trivial(ish). Please, please do the TED talk as I'd love to hear your thoughts on teaching as you seem to have a natural gift especially with the kids. Best wishes!

I'll be keeping a watch Phil as I've got the one I won in the raffle and any clues on how to rig these things will be appreciated. Nice start on the instruments, etc. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the woodgrain too! -
Stay safe and look after yourself Dale. We'll be waiting when you want to return.

Bet they don't need to try too hard to get the sag on the wings!

Looks nice. Wish someone would do a similar treatment for the Lysander.

I've a number of friends in China and they are all being forced to work from home and I know a few of their companies have pulled the plug on their external servers during the closedown. I think the extended restrictions for the New Year ended last weekend so in theory people should be back but it seems to be pretty close to house arrest in many areas. I'll agree on FB as well as Zuckerberg ain't getting my custom.

You're right to love that colour. Looks stunning. It appears as though it'll change subtly with every alteration in angle and lighting which is exactly as it would be in reality. Kudos!
