yes the cast is dull but you can pollish it ip to great shine.

All paints are alclad.

so far with engine nr 1 that comes on a service cart

the second one will be in the car

going for the final details on this one this week

i hope to have pics up this weekend

So here a small update.

Im working on engine nr 2 this one will get placed in the car.

Not yet don steel needs gear box an exhaust

also done a bit of paint job on the car.

Still needs clear coat.

today i hope to do some other small parts on the engine and going to put some clear coat done.

Your engine looks almost real, great work, Mark. The paintjob is smoot and shiny, with a gloss coat it will be super. I guess, the slightly orange tint is due to lighting conditions.
