I also check with Scalemates and download instructions to see what I'm

Scalemates is now becoming compulsory reading, they didn’t have the H full interior instructions on last week and I spent hours trying to find them :wallbash:

Just catching up Phil and it looks really good. I've got a Border Models Panzer IV in the stash so it will be interesting to see how they compare

Thanks Carl, Border Models is another company I haven’t built yet. I think Dragon have some serious competition now, especially on price….be great to see your build….

Looks good. Also looks bigger than my Panzer IV even though there the same scale.

Looks like some nice detailing on the engine too. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks, really impressed with RFM, for the amount of money there’s a lot of plastic…..

The good news I’ve had some work this week so no benchtime but did grab a little this weekend. So on to tracks, 200 odd tracks to cut and wipe over with a sand stick and then add the pins…….it’s going to be a long road…..engine and gun mantel and breech are in the spray booth…..

So actually found some al fresco modelling today, nice weather in Blighty for a change. RFM have missed a beat here, the pure “external “ kit as I said before has a lot of “ interior” parts on the sprues. But, in the exterior boxing they do not mention them, for instance the cupola hatch has all the catches in the box but no reference. I looked at the full interior instructions and there they are…….

With all the interior parts this will be a complex build!

Kai, there is only a few of the parts. The main armament is fully detailed but when the turret is complete it disappears. Not really sure about full interior AFV’s as there is no way to display, bar cutting the sides off……a few more links to complete…..glad I found out prior to buying the full interior boxing….

Phil

Absolutely. Never understood why a manufacturer would include extra parts that can be used for the version being built and no mention of it in the instructions at all.Sometimes, the wish is for accurate instructions, which is part of what we are paying for.

Keep 'em comin

Thanks Peter, it’s quite therapeutic in a strange way…..

Kinda like sanding, when I get to the point in some wood work music in the background and a sanding block in hand is a peaceful repertoire.;)

Phil, what you've got done on that interior looks great to me. I like the slightly oily look the engine has.

Carl

Thanks Carl, the engine was fun, you could go to town on it but within this boxing not all of parts are available. The fans, for instance are missing. I’ll pose the engine hatches open so you will get a glimpse……
