I have a 1/72 Special Hobby Helldiver in my stash, along with an Eduard Big ED PE set. Man that's a frightening sight, but one day, with a potent magnifier....

Wife bought this as a stocking filler, it’s a nail varnish acrylic stand but fits modelling products perfectly. A good desk organiser with what’s being used on a project…..doesn’t fit liquid cements though………..well,  I like it…….

Yes, we think we get it bad here in Scotland but those sort of temperatures put it in perspective.

Our problem is the dampness with the cold which always seems to make it feel worse.

A change from my usual large-scale purchases is this 1/35 Meng A7v ww 1 tank.

I remember trying to buy this kit in the past without much luck; everywhere I looked

it was sold out. Well, I found this on the Sprue  Brothers website. I always wanted to

build this somewhat silly - looking, boxy, German, monstrosity of a tank. I remember buying a

model ( I think the kit was by Tauro) of this tank years ago and never finishing it. Anyway,

this kit looks very good and it even has a complete interior and working tracks.  I can't help thinking that this tank reminds me of a two slice  toaster.

C'mon, build that toaster and WIP it please. As I have the same one in stash, I'm eager to see how this thing builds up. If I remember right, I added some brass substitutes for the barrel and MG's.

Looking forward to building this one but I have a big 1/16 t72 to finish and a big Stug

will be next. I see that Aber has a set for this model  (Aber 35 L-164) but I don't see it

available on the sites I usually purchase from. Perhaps Ebay or direct from Aber are

options.

That's the one. Here in Europe it's still available in places.

As much as I like helicopters and their mechanics, versatility and abilities in real live, I had not much love for them in large scale. That changed a bit, when I saw the Cobra issued by ICM and I was finally sold, when Special Hobby released the ICM plastic along with resin parts, 3D printed parts, color PE, in- and outside masks and new decals.
For a bit more than 40€, I got a complete package of the Cobra, unbeatable.

Cheers Rob
