Amazing skills and finish, Jeroen. You should leave her that way. Love the PE-work and can only assume the patience needed.

Cheers Rob

Thnx Rob,

the only reason i’m not cutting any corners here is that i pass the crash site and graves every day on my way to work.

this is the god’s honest truth.

No I get that and wholeheartedly agree!  I was referring to me personally.  No decent 32 model, we grab a good 48 kit. Or 72 in the case of An-22

Exactly! If a 32 scale kit was available that would be a no brainer...

Lovely work Jeoren. Wimpy has a place in my hearth . As a kid I use to read stories of Czechoslovak airmen from 311 squadron, that flew them over the darkness of the enemy territories . Scary to think what those guys had to go thru .

Once again mighty fine work, I had a chance to spare a word or two with the Eduard team in Phoenix and I have to admit, what a bunch of nice and creative folks.

,,,if I may suggest something to consider, please check out this video, and the colouring/wear difference present on the bombs, as the casted body was attached to the stabilizing part.

Hi Martin, thnx!!

the video you post shows an early wimpy. This means the bombs are mustard yellow. My wimpy is late and had green bombs. A darker shade of green and shorter bomb tails.

Perfect Jeroen and I like your passionate approach to history you show with that project. Can't say that I'm waiting for the Wellington to be finished, because that will hinder the view from savor the inner section of the fuselage :D.

Cheers Rob

the place i’m pointing at is where my house is today. The crash site is smack in the middle of the base.
