BlrwestSiR
So why is it there are no straightforward to assemble kits of the Hurricane? Is the planes design that challenging to do in IM plastic? Just curious as I chip away at my Fly kit. And no the PCM one isn't any better. Carl 5 1
Martinnfb
1/24 Trumpeter is actually pretty good, goes together like Lego. Nice progress pictures guys, as Peter would say "keep them coming"
Peterpools
Carl Excellent point and question. Could it be the Spitfire just overwhelmed the Hurricane on the kit side of the equation? I would love a 32nd scale Mk1a Hurricane. Keep 'em comin Peter
Spitfire
That looks good, it reminds me that I must get back to my PCM Fabric wing version which is in the paint shop, and I have a few FLY kits awaiting my attention as well. BlrwestSiR
Not enough Caddies on here so here's one from the SoD. The original metallic pink was a fail so it's been in the box for the last 20 years or so. Stripped it and shot a new coat of primer. Here's the chassis from where I left off.

Martinnfb
I would even go as far, as shaving the fins. Wait! Who said that? 2
BlrwestSiR
A quick mock up. All the stock chrome work has to be re-done as I had to sand off lots of heavy mould seams. Mind you, I'm liking the look of it in black. 6
harv
Yes Carl, I like the black with those wheels. Leave the chrome off....harv 2

Cheers Rob At just under 19ft long, I could fit one in our garage. But getting it into the garage would be another story. At least I don't have that issue with my Beat. But it's only 9ft long. Martinnfb
I gave up under the pressure of historical facts and removed the outer cannons. The thing is, I forgot the combination of colours I used to mix the filter for the rest of the plane with. It’s still gonna be super awesome, but I’ll be more that happy to build 190 after I’m done with this pesky thing. 9
