DocRob Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Hi Martin, you are the man to tackle that Beau, I will follow for sure. Cheers Rob 6
RalphSarc Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Really great progress so far. I just bought this kit over the winte. I’m looking forward to the special challenges and opportunities it offers. Nice work on the cockpit by the way . 4
BlrwestSiR Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 This is great Martin. I almost started this instead of the Kingfisher. Still might break it out especially with you building one. As for an all black version, that's the release I have: I'm thinking Coastal Command myself but I need to make a clear some to cover the antennae on the fuselage. Carl 6

Carl Thank You Carl, well this build is so much fun and I am really excited about it. There is nothing to mess up, you can only make things better I opted for 1F version in order to a\void all of the necessary additions related to later versions. Can't wait to see yours. Martinnfb Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 Oil radiators intakes in the leading edge are quite prominent feature, so let's give them some attention as well 6
HubertB Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 You’re flying through this one, Martinn ! Hubert 6
Bomber_County Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Martin, how did I miss this beauty, vaguely remeber you starting this, man your quick....... did I dream it or is there going to be a new tooling in 32nd or 48th? 7
Martinnfb Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 Thank You for stopping by Hubert, Yes I am trying to utilize my spare time this week, the pace will slow down as we get to more intricate detail assembly. Hi Phill, thank you for the compliments. I actually started last week and open this topic yesterday. The only new tooling that popped out recently were 1/48 scale Revell and 1/72 scale Airfix. There were also many rumours surrounding upcoming Beaufighter release created by me , therefore unreliable 5

He he, that exactly what they were thinking, no realizing that they set the precedencefor years to come Cheers M. This is what I did last night 8
Martinnfb Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 Thanks Harvey. I am trying to give some sense to the floor layout. If you guys have some drawings and images , especially under the rear seat please hang it here. Cheers M. 3
BlrwestSiR Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Martin, I think your definition of "keeping it simple" is other people's " I'm going to scratch build an interior" Which is awesome! I picked up a Tamiya Beaufighter to get an idea to the layout of the interior. Want me to scan the instructions? Carl 5
Martinnfb Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 He he, thank you for the offer Carl, I was thinking more about pictures of the real plane 4
BlrwestSiR Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 These are from the recent Airfile book on the Beaufighter. 5
coolboxx Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Awesome work Martin, where they kidding you...easy....huh 5

harv Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Martin, if you can, get ahold of our friend Derek. I know at one time he was working on a resin interior for the Beau. After he stopped on it, I got rid of mine.....harv 5
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted February 27, 2019 Administrators Posted February 27, 2019 Martin, this is AWESOME, man!! Wow! I've always loved the Beau, but have never built the old Revell kit. I'm loving what you're doing with these old Jurassic mouldings. 6
