So then I show my wife both Super Set boxes  and ask her which version she likes.

She then makes a scientific ladylike proclamation:

“I like the black and white picture”.

Me “But the G has more rockets on it”

Wife: “I like the black and white one”

Me: “But all the extra rockets”

Wife: “Black and white”.  - Death Stare -

Me:  silence,  muffled “gulp”

and you’ll need to know the Thud to understand this, but....

And it seems her decision will also of course mean a fair bit of scratch work in the rear pit.  The F and the G are somewhat different in rear seat panel layout.

OH yay.  I sooooo love scratching panels after my amazing B-36 experience.

Call yourself lucky, discussing about a kit subject with your wife. I've given up on that, after my last try of showing her my Lozenge camouflaged Siemen Schuckert D.III twins. She said, the Tarnstoff reminds her of the anti graffiti design on the seats of the Berlin subway. Hell yes, the effect is the same, it's camouflaging, but how can you compare :D.

The only way, I can get to her, is discussing technical aspect. As an engineer, she has a wide interest into engines, gears, ..., like, what was that about the Oberursel Umlaufmotor...

Can't wait to see your Santa ride grow, is there still something left from the original plastic ;)?

Cheers Rob

Ernie,

That Black Box cockpit is pretty much a direct drop in.  I had the one for the "D" and it
fit in perfectly.  Good luck with the build.  I have the "G" on the back burner somewhere in
the future.

Cheers,
Jerry  :piliot:

LOL Ernie! Since I have been divorced for quite a long time I don't need to get a opinion from a wife (or girl friend for that matter!). I have a hard enough time deciding on which kit to build and in what markings etc without someone else's opinion.  LOL Roll on my friend!!! :)

There is a simple solution; build the G Weasel, and post the photos here in black and white.

You need to think more like a Woman!
