Would be cleaner. I used some coarse steel wool, like on the first pic, when I airbrushed my Mig-31 and liked the effect. The risk of color flowing under a mask is practical zero and by varying distance and orientation, you have a truly random pattern. Ernie's present surely is a gem and I'm amazed, no, close to being blown away by the work you are doing - looking so good. Just love your repair to the canopy and the motherly care the kit is requiring. I do have a policy I stick to: If I receive a kit or anything I purchased on line and receive it damaged, I couldn't care less about what the vendor says - it's their problem not mine. Partially it’s my own wrongdoings, touching wet paint, loosing parts etc. it’s probably my worst work to date. I’m gonna finish it only out of obligation to this GB. DocRob Posted June 18, 2022 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Positively trashy, I might add , I like the worn look of your Mig Martin. I know the feeling, I only wear my glasses on night drives in the car. Would I wear them permanently, I would feel like half death, It's a too hard decline to get used to. Luckily my eyes are better now, than some years ago. Doing a lot of outdoor activities with wide views and not only staring on tiny plastic parts through magnifiers and onto computer screens helps a lot. I also know the feeling to not get the right ambition for some builds, without having an obvious reason, but good to see that you pulled through.
