... And obviously a more suitable size for using a chainsaw, and a trowel to splatter the putty, to butcher cut it to make it more accurate ;) ...

I would never do such a thing. :)

No, chainsaws are too much manual labour Martin. Semtex does the same but with much less physical exertion. :D

Having the Dragon T95 in the stash, I really don't trust the self destructing DS tracks it came with. I finally decided to get the Rye Field T80 tracks for the kit.

Due to the T95 having a double run of tracks, I need 3 sets of Sherman tracks to outfit it.

My LHS got a shipment of Fruil tracks in so I grabbed the Conqueror ones for my Badger.

They also had a few of the BSG kits in. Mobius recently lost the license to make these so they're getting hard to find. I decided to get them while I could.

Nice haul Carl, even nicer to have a LHS so close……..but oh so dangerous…..

I don't need a LHS to drive myself into poverty, quite the opposite, I have to add shipping and customs to all my goods :D.

Got ya:wacko:

Just to show you how dangerous having a great local hobby shop is, back in the early 1970's the original Squadron Shop had four stores if I remember correctly. There was mail order and of course no internet as there was no such things as pc's, cellphones or the web. My brother and I visited the Squadron Shop in Syosset, NY (we have always lived on Long Island) and after finding their add in Scale Modeler Magazine (modeling magazines were big back then) and the rest was history. Oh how dangerous it was as you couldn't just visit, check out the models in display cases and not buy a kit or two.

Keep 'em comin

For a change I have something to share, a good deal on Evilbay all three for the cost of one of them at RRP. I think Eduard have discontinued them though…..now to get the kit to put them on……..

Nice find for sure and hopefully a F4F will be hitting your bench. Slowly but surely I've stopped buying on eBay as the prices are nothing to write home about.

This FINALLY came here today. I'm very excited about it. Also needing to order a bunch from Adriatic.

Now for the rant. I ordered this kit from KITLINX. It said available. I also had a $19 credit from my Whirlwind order. So, I ordered ir. That was a month ago. After many emails, with a very sparse reply, and a notice from PayPal that store hadn't claimed my shipping payment yet, more emails. This hole time the kit was marked "on hold". So sent more emails explaining they never accepted the money from PayPal. Well, last week they finally received the money and emailed me it was shipping. But for 5 more days it was still on hold. So now I have the kit and I will NEVER order from them again......harv

Glad you finally got it Harv.

It amazes me that any company that is dependant on paying  customers should have such poor customer relations.

I ordered a couple of Trumpeter single blade nippers off eBay on July 28 from Hong Kong. They were in the mailbox today when I got home.

As much as I like the Dspiae ones, these seem to get into tighter spots a bit easier. And they're less than 1/2 the price. My current pair  cut so close to the surface, that I can often skip sanding the part after.
