This is my next attempt. Revell 1/32 Westland Lynx Mk.8

The soundproof blanket detail on the kit was very one dimensional so I made my own from some lightwieght air dry clay used vechicle repair mesh to get the pattern and tamyia tape. I am well pleased with the result and it should look well, painted.

The interior floor of the rear cabin is plywood with none slip effect. here I have used a very fine grain sand on PVA and painted. Again as it comes together hopefully will look the part.

Cheers

Here are some in progress pics of my A-1. I will be building the “Sopwith Camel” of Capt Drury. Sorry for the bad pics. I hate these planes with the folding wing option!

I'm building Takom's 1/35 Spahpanzer Luchs.

Finally attached the brake drums.  NOt an easy step.

To my surprise, research showed the thing is covered in weld seams...  yet not one one the kit.

P51 looks good, which Elco is that?

Well it's both. PT 109 hull with the Weapons of the 596 kit.  I had to do it that way for the mid war boat that I wanted. The forward cab and 50.Cal turrets are different between the kits.

Progressing on my F-16. Decided to paint and decal the tail section.   First time using Two Bob's decals.  Color is great and super thin, but extremely prone to tearing for some reason.  Tried hot and cold water with them.  The weasel was terrifying to get on especially over the hinge line, but it's down.  Still need to go back and touch up a few minor areas and do the other side but I'm quite happy with how she'll look.
