  1. Got a bit more done on the Dino engine.
  2. Ernie, just because you have a lot of Wingnut kits doesn't make it gluttony. Not to mention your generosity to others I'd say certainly outweighs any negatives, biblical or otherwise. Carl
  3. Like Gazzas said, looks really impressive. Carl
  4. At least we got the pretty end of the Spitfire.
  5. One of the worst has to be the '70s version of Midway where they take off in one type of plane and land in another. Of course the best is Charlton Heston's character crash landing in a Panther. That always got me. Carl
  6. There's someone selling a 16ft (yup, feet) refit Enterprise for $2200 CAD. Lights up and every thing. Carl
  7. Just finished Ready Player Two. Wasn't as good as the first book.
  8. Here's Zoe Well, can't leave the cats out can we? So here's Fursnake... ...and this is Sunny
  9. Football, the American kind. Which is different from the European one and even from the Canadian version.
  10. You probably won't like the price even if it's in Loonies: https://www.greathobbies.com/productinfo/?prod_id=RVG3875 As for the P-51B, the Trumpeter kit has a lot of shape issues, mostly around the nose and canopy. Jerry Rutman did some correction sets for it but they're OOP. None fixed the canopy though. I've seen some folks graft the Hasegawa nose onto the Revell kit. Martin on here did that but I don't know if her ever finished. Carl
  11. Hemi orange. Well, it's a start anyways.
  12. The darker base looks better to me as well. I like the woodgrain in it more. Carl
  13. Great job John! I hear you on the challenges of putting one together. Had some of my own doing on my build. So what's next in the queue? Carl
  14. Looks about as big as their Ho229 box?
  15. The one thing I really don't like about the Trumpeter kit is the way the cockpit is installed. They use huge tabs on either side that plug into the fuselage. The plugs are very noticeable in the MLG bays. Another point of contention is the gun bay doors are designed to be mounted in the open position. Closing them up means a bit of shimming is needed. Carl
  16. Nice looking decals. I've only got a single Fokker and it's not the right one either. Carl
  17. The Stratos came with red wheels. So those are painted now. A quick mockup. I may use a different rim and tire. We'll see.
  18. Very colourful there Tony. And nicely done too. Carl
  19. They are definitely destinctive. Oddly enough, I wouldn't mind a Sherp. Have no idea what I would do with one except not get stuck in the winter time.
  20. Very nice! Just made me looks for Ladas in Canada. None for sale at the moment. Carl
  21. Fantastic paint job.
  22. Seriously impressive. If I built something that big, at least I'd have someplace to stay. Carl
  23. Indeed and a good thing too as I couldn't find my decals. Can't wait to see it once the clear dries. Carl
