My comment could be read as political, when it was just referring to an inefficient administrative process. My apologies for this unwanted undertone.

Your post on the other hand is purely and unashamedly political, and furthermore with statements that one could think lifted from some propaganda outlet.

Sorry if i caused offence to you Hubert. It was not intended. Nothing lifted from any propaganda outlet at all. I'm just a proud Brit who voted yes for Brexit for the reasons i stated in my last post. I know people over the small canal cannot understand the reasoning for us doing it. But we have and for some small inconvenience for a period of time, it's a price i'm willing to pay.

Anyway. I am sorry to the OP for detracting from the original topic.

This is a beauty, albeit a pricey one. Is it a must buy? I'm trying to convince me not, but seem to fail, open outcome with a clear tendency....
To ruin my idea of buying less models, it looks so well designed and I used Lukgraphs 3D printed Le Rhone engine on my last build and it was far superior to the e.G. Oberursel resin engine from Copper State.
There will be a limited edition with wood and linen decals included for the German version, must resist,...

BTW, thanks Fran for getting me hooked :D, but honestly, I spotted the Friedrichshafen before.

Cheers Rob

I wish Lukagraph would of shown the different Marking options!!!

There was only one Polish plane and if you look for Lukgraph's 1/48 offering and in the net, the markings of the German birds, seem to be pretty basic.

They do in their detail pics of the German version now. There are four different planes, one with a grey fuselage and three with wood, aluminum and linen.
It has floats, woodgrain, metal and cloth, right down my alley, as a friend of showing material textures and appearance. I think, I can't resist any longer and will talk myself into the Friedrichshafen, being a substitute for the missed opportunity to get a WNW Albatros B.II, with a similar appealing material mix.

Easy peasy. You'll never be comfortable with that, and find some reason to cut one up.

Sacrilege, I would never cut a Spitfire kit. Unless I would, but only  in case of encounter with very poor and mediocre approach of its creator.

Guess I'm a heathen for having cut up three Tamiya Spits so far.

Martin

I can feel it in my bones, you're so right. Funny as it sounds, while I like a few aircraft to have their engines hanging in the wind, I much prefer the sleek lines of the aircraft in the display case with their cowls buttoned up. Out of seven tamiya Mustangs and Spitfires, only two have their beautiful Merlin engines colw panels off.

Keep 'em comin

HPH have, at last, released the 1/32 DC-3 in Continental Airlines’ livery. The price tag is still VERY hefty, though …
