  1. Phil Your pre-shading is looking mighty good and right with Gaz and John, no issues with using historically accurate swastika decals on our models. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  2. Phil Any savings are a plus as shipping these days seem to consume a nice chunk of our purchases. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  3. Carl Took a good second look and the Cold War Studio turrets and now that I know what I’m looking at, they do look so much better then the kit offering. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  4. Tom Nice work on the front office, as it looks the part. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  5. Nice progress and right with Gaz, looking mighty good. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  6. Gaz Many years ago In our old house, I was a model railroader and spent Years working on my layout. Back then, most scenery was held in place with good old Elmers White glue, thinned with water from a spray bottle. You could brush on the white glue or use an eye dropper and when dry, the glue was invisible. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  7. Kai Nice start on the front office and the Red Fox 3D decals looks fantastic. Glad you found some time to hit the bench this weekend. Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. Mike Got ya... and yet the Vulcan looks great Peter
  9. Thanks Carl I'll take a closer look Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. MIke Terrific build and a beautiful display. I'm a bit of a nit picker on photography and seeing how the colors from this update doesn't match the cammo colors from your last post, the previous update, the colors are the correct ones. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Gaz Nice progress on the figures and dio base. I all to well know the feeling of spending countless hours working and at the end of the day, it doesn't seem as if much was accomplished, but we know how much effort went into any stage and can easily appreciate the amount of work and effort that goes into a work session, especially figures and scenery. Keep 'em comin Peter
  12. Carl Which is the Cold War Studio's turrets, are on the left with the parting line, as it has a lot more detail? That's always been the issue for me, as I love those big WWII bombers but haven't a clue where to display them. No way would they fit in my glass display case and I don't think the 'Chief' would be too enthusiastic if I bought another display case, as I still have plenty of room for additional shelves. 13. Phil Glad you're formulating a Black Friday plan ... hope you find some great deals. The only BF Sale I found a number of years back was the Squadron Black Friday sale, which was spend $500 and receive a 50% discount, which meant all it cost was $250 with free shipping. Now that was a sale seemed to be for just one year and the next year(s) was never repeated; I wonder why? I really haven't found too many sales that save me enough to jump into the BF Sale Pool these days. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Carl Holy Smokes - beyond BIG, it's HUGE! How are you planning on displaying the B-24 when she is completed? Keep 'em comin
  15. Ernie Welcome back my friend, as I can feel your pain from this past year. I'm so sorry about your Mom, truly an horrendous and all that has happened. Wishing you and your family so much better for the present and future. Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Harv Enjoy you family visit and I'm willing to bet, there aren't any hobby shops inside the casinos but you should check it out for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter
  17. Martin Could it be the start of a Sea Fury? Keep 'em comin Peter
  18. Martin I can feel it in my bones, you're so right. Funny as it sounds, while I like a few aircraft to have their engines hanging in the wind, I much prefer the sleek lines of the aircraft in the display case with their cowls buttoned up. Out of seven tamiya Mustangs and Spitfires, only two have their beautiful Merlin engines colw panels off. Keep 'em comin Peter
  19. Kent Awesome rivet work - looks absolutely perfect. And of course, nice going on the filler and sanding - what would a build be without it😉 Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. Jeroen Nice to have you back at the bench and working away. The gun bay preshading does look good Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Very nice progress and looking very good. Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Thanks Kai Hope it helps anyone using Eduard's new decals and knowing what to expect. Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Thanks Kent It was my pleasure to sure what I discovered and it also was fun in it's own way Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Mike So glad to do the test and share the results with everyone. I've learned so much from all the guys, it was a pleasure to 'give back' something of value. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Phil Glad I could pass a long what I learned and for my money, it seems as if Eduard has a good thing going with their new decals. See what happens on the Mustang. Keep 'em comin Peter
