Since you're a fellow McLaren F1 fan, here's a couple pics of the MFH kit which I'll get to one day.

That kit looks sweet. I missed the original Studio 27 kits the first time around, these might be worth a look. It would certainly save time and effort replicating some of those hidden details.

I've got the Studio 27 kit in the stash as well. The Aoshima kit is better.

MFH kit has all that detail included and the panel over them is held in place with magnets. That being said, it is pricier but everything's in the box: PE, carbon decals where needed, fabric belts and even machined aluminium bits.

Only thing missing is time and the skills needed to put it together.

My Christmas Haul:

Even though they aren't large scale. I'm going to have to build a custom display.  Right now I can't fit anything larger than a 1/48 P-47 so my few LSP's and recent twin engined builds are dust collectors.

A Liberator and a half-dozen Dragon armor kits, plus some large jars of pigments. Also going shoe shopping during the after-Christmas sales to get a pair of Doc Martens.

A late Christmas present, brought by the postman. Time to do some research regarding the subject.

I all ready had the kit, the decals and the figures. Now i need to do some findings regarding some details found on the A-6A/KA-6D airframes. I know that there are wrong ejection seat's in the Avionix update kit, but that's the least of my problems.

Boy, that SAS jeep has been around a long time, I remember really wanting one, always thought the cut grille was really cool for a model.....

44 years! I remember having that one and the 'Pink Panther' one as a kid. Think they both got destroyed in some of my back garden 'battles' at some point. Probably involved firecrackers! :D
