She keeps moving forward.The base is a far cry from perfect that Birch is some hard wood to the router but it will work for ME for someone else I have to do it again,besides I am out of Birch now.I am going to seal the pic in clear film and and using a spray adhesive attach to the base.

Thks Martin some armor got to move in the cabinet for this one to fit should look good maybe a show in Covington,LA come June if the world hasn't blown up by then.

I opened the Kotare box yesterday to look at the parts and this happens

Martin, I guess Kotare have taken "shake and bake" kit building to a whole new level.  Leave the cement and paint close to the box and this is what happens automatically.

I wanted to do the Revell 1/48 B-1B in a similar display except with cruise missiles coming out of the bomb bay. Never got around to it.

Awesome B-25 - just love the entire concept and built.

Yup, got to watch out for those sneaky Kotare Spitfires - seem the' auto build syndrome' is happening all over the model building kingdom.

Another “proverbial bench” project….  Or how I spent my day yesterday and later today. 
Duke Energy has lowered our lake about 4’ under normal, so getting down to our floating dock is kind of dangerous trying to balance on an 8’ A frame ladder while stepping on a dock that moves under your weight.  So for this summers activities, the wife had tasked me to build a set of stairs so the grand kids can safely access the lower dock.  
Now I just have to figure out how to get these heavy things down to the lower dock.  Going to take 4 or 5 people to lower  them into place.

 

steps have not been attached yet, probably saves 60-70 lbs, but I have to finish the hand rails today.

Funny thing is, I paid a guy $1600 + materials last weekend to replace the front steps on my house.   After this set of tiny stairs, that was money well spent.
