Well, my sis tested positive yesterday for it. That leaves their youngest as the only one to not have it in their family. I was more concerned about their oldest daughter as she has severe asthma and Covid can hit kids with that really hard. She's mostly recovered but has to stay home from school until next week.

They've stopped testing here in Ontario unless you're getting admitted to a hospital. As a result, the provincial government has stopped reporting daily infection numbers as they don't reflect what's actually happening.

My wife tested positive yesterday too.  Came home Thursday evening starting a fever of 100.3 and it got up to 102. Body aches, just flu like symptoms. Slept a lot next day

Took her to get tested yesterday morning, results last night.  She’s already feeling much better today and anxious for a glass of wine this evening.

Good to hear she's better already!

I'm not sure what I had, but shortly after Thanksgiving, I experienced chills, claminess, sweats, and abdominal discomfort. I had no fever, in fact my temperature was lower than

average , about 97 f. I never got myself tested as it only lasted to 2-3 days. Not sure if

It was covid, but I sure was miserable.

Sounds very similar to what I had two weeks ago, no fever (temp 97.2), with chills, sweats, and very uncomfortable abdomen.  After driving the porcelain bus, I felt better and spent two full days sleeping around the clock.  Tested negative, but felt like 10 lbs of $H1T stuffed into a 5 lb bag.

Yes, that sounds exactly like I had. Glad you tested negative, by the way.

Christmas night I developed cold symptoms - ran a low fever the next day and knew I was off. Tested positive Monday morning but only had mild cold symptoms for a few days. Looks like the jab has proven useless - no way I'm taking a booster after that. "Oh but you're probably not seriously ill since you were vaxxed" - sorry but you'll have to prove that scientifically.

And if you're hiding away thinking you'll not get it - everyone is getting this omicron strain, and that's probably for the better.

In any event I was back to work after my quarantine time.

It's galloping in France ATM.

From a doc in emergencies in Paris' hospitals : "70 % of patients in ICU are not vaccinated. Of the 30 % vaccinated, 2/3 are suffering from an immune system deficit, so the vaccine is less likely to be effective on them... And we have no time to chase whether the remaining 1/3 of vaccinated people in ICU have not simply presented a phony vax pass."

I know where my camp is, and got my booster, like almost everyone in Portugal.
