Martinnfb Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 This kit is a pure magic. Absolutely fun build. It took about a week. I messed up few things due to my own arrogance and clumsiness. But the overall feeling is a pure joy. Thanks to William for the kit itself , I missed out on the initial order and he was kind and generously thoughtful to get extra for my grubby fingers. He also provided guidance along the way. I have to admit my knowledge of the subject is minimal and his help was immense and badly needed. And finally a big thanks to the Kotare team for their efforts resulting in this amazing kit. Cheers Martin 16 6
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted May 11, 2023 Administrators Posted May 11, 2023 Awesome build, Martin. Pure magic! And that Jeep…. Yummm 1 1
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted May 11, 2023 Administrators Posted May 11, 2023 Martin, it looks absolutely real. 2
williamj Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Nicely done Martin, I couldn't have done it without you.😉 2
ScottsGT Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Wow! Super realistic. Hard to tell I was looking at a model. 2
DocRob Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Wow, looks absolutely fantastic Martin. Take care that there are no oil stains on your Jeep, the grade of realism your Spit shows, she must be leaking like a real one . Cheers Rob 2
Spitfire Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Absolutely fabulous build and finish, that really captures the early Spitfire look to me. Cheers Dennis 2
Martinnfb Posted May 12, 2023 Author Posted May 12, 2023 Tank You guys, it looks ok from 6 feet away, you don't wanna get any closer. 2
MARU 5137 Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 Martin, EXCEPTIONAL build and looks very Real in your photographs. Outstanding work. 1
Martinnfb Posted May 14, 2023 Author Posted May 14, 2023 Thank You my friends, you're way too kind. 1
Peterpools Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Martin Awesome build and terrific finish. For me, I'm glad the Spit has no engine as it just complicates the build - besides, I have three Tamiya Spits in the display case all with their engine covers off and the Merlines looking good. 1 1
GazzaS Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Looks very nice, Martin. I like the heavily weathered finish. I have to admit being a bit envious when I look at mine still un-painted. I was waiting for an Aussie fellow to produce some Aussie-piloted machine decals. But he has failed to produce and I'm kinda well-stuck-into the base for my 'wet' group build S-boat. So, rudderless on my spitfire... 2
KevinM Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Martin that is an absolutely splendid looking build Sir you knock it out of the ballpark! 1

Martinnfb Posted June 4, 2023 Author Posted June 4, 2023 Thank you again guys. Yes, that is correct. I had to deal with some family business back in Europe, so the build was interrupted , but truly it falls together like a Lego. if I can do it , anybody can and with much better result. 1
