belugawhaleman
Got the companion piece to my DSPIAE circle cutter today; The "Stepless Adjustment Circular Cutter Locator". It should add a little more versatility to my circle cutter; allowing It to cut concentric circles for roundels and the like. Again, it is a quality tool, albeit a very simple one. Also arriving today; eight bottles of Tamiya LP-24 semi-gloss clear lacquer. I'm looking forward to trying both products out.

Two guys actually came to blows over how many rivets there should have been or not in a loco tender that someone had scratch built…….. Not sure whether I should have used the confused or sad emoticon for that one!

A bit of physical exercise is not the worst for us bench hunched individuals . Earnestly, it's about exchanging words and not blows about such an unimportant important thing, like modelling. The only WNW kit I'm really missing is a wood clad two seater, either the LVG or better, the Albatros B.II. On the other hand, my stashed WNW kits will give me enough exciting bench time, but the 'want to have-pang' is there . Have fun with the kit. Bomber_County
In preparation for retirement, I thought whilst I am still gainfully employed I’d better bolster the stash level. Been astutely foraging through eBay I’ve found and successfully bid on another gem. At present for the last five eBay purchases I’m averaging 50% RRP and all have been sealed bagged not started kits. The stash level has now reached the dizzying heights of 20….… I know it’s paltry but going to try and grow for the future albeit secondhand…… 5

I also have been building up a stash for the past few years; probably more than I'll ever finish, my output of finished models not being that many. I haven't tried Ebay yet. There are a lot of Takom models that are difficult to source and I've seen some of these listed on Ebay. The only Dragon kit I built was that big German bicycle I built a while back, I enjoyed that. I have a Dragon 1/16 figure to build that looks pretty good.

I’m gathering half tracks at the moment Famo and this one. I’ll probably hit 25 and then pause……. 2

I remember now; about two years ago, my mother purchased for me as a gift a Takom's 1/6 ft17 ---the one with the Berliet or hexagonal turret. I was surprised as I haven't seen this version for sale anywhere since then. She got it for a good price I think.

Impressive 'Tamiya' stash Carl, as I couldn't bring myself to so much repetitive builds, my favorite on your pic is a single kit from Ukraine, which I have built recently and enjoyed it mucho. Landlubber Mike
I don't usually post what comes in the mail as you all might think I have some kind of mental condition, but pretty excited about this - Special Hobby's Siebel Si 204D. I tend to like the work horse subjects when it comes to planes (like the Ju52) and ships (like the auxiliary ships). Got the full aftermarket including Eduard's BigEd set and a bunch of CMK aftermarket improvements and figures. The CMK engine set looks especially cool. Should be a fun build when I ever get to it. 5

Cheers Rob The Fokker is my favourite WWI plane so when I found the MikroMir kit I had to pick it up. I saw your build and the struts are a bit nerve wracking even with the Aerocraft brass ones that I have. I will have to just brave them one day and build it.
BlrwestSiR
I got my first order in from Spot Models in Spain. Very nicely packaged and the prices seemed very reasonable too. These should be a huge improvement over the Trumpeter kit ones. Wheels for my road going 935 project. Unfortunately the kit wheels are a much larger diameter than the ones in the 934 so I may have to shuffle things around a bit.
