crazypoet
That engine mount was major surgery- nicely done. Also the PE adds beautiful details that you really don't catch until looking at the before/after shots

Guest DannyVM
Hi Guy's, it's been a while that i did some progress on this nice subject, so i thought it was time to bring this topic back to life. Much is happened the last days. The JUG got some paint and some color, and at the moment i'm busy to put some gloss clear in preparation for the decals. In a certain matter i wasn't happy by the look of the metal finish i added last time, but after a good look, it wasn't as bad at all, so i decided to go further on this project. Some spot's where filled with dust particles, so i sanded them and repainted them. After the repaint, it was time to put some color on this bird. As i am into transition from Tamiya acrylics to MRP paint's i used the Tamiya acrylics for the yellow and red colors. The black on the front edge of the horizontal and vertical stabilizer is MRP. And some detail shot's of the finished cockpit. Ok, where back on track with this one, prepare for some more progress soon. Regards Danny

DocRob
Hi Danny, can't wait to see the Jug progressing. Your WIP triggered me to get me one as well and it will be started soon. The NMF is looking good. The metal finish looks very fine on your pictures, what type (brand) colour has been used? Cheers Rob

Guest DannyVM
All decals are placed onto the model, after that, i tackled the windscreen and canopy and dipped them in a pint of Sols Plus (Future). All other lose part's and the wheel bay's received some chipping and a wash in order to give them a dirty and used appearance. Today i will put a gloss clear coat over the decals so i can start with the panel wash. Regards Danny

Keep 'em comin Peter Thank's Peter perfect isn't quit the word Peter, it could be better, but i'm happy with how it came out. I think i will need some new bottles of Alclad finishes.
