DocRob Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 That is sweet, Jeroen, another epic build with a perfectly blended look. Are some of the cockpit panes still masked or is that supposed like it is and why? Cheers Rob 2

Bomber_County Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Damn that’s nice.........you’ve captured that worn mission look precisely..... 2
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted December 9, 2018 Author Administrators Posted December 9, 2018 Aaaaalmost done! Ordered a custom wooden plinth to mount the aerial photo of the crash site on. 10
DocRob Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Your way of presenting a kit in it's own special setting makes it stand out. Cheers Rob 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted December 11, 2018 Author Administrators Posted December 11, 2018 More pics! I wasn't happy with the huge aerial photo base. So I had one printed new, to the exact size of a wooden plinth i bought. I marked the crash location with concentric circles (in the shape of a RAF roundel). Only need to blend the dibond panel to the wood more. Then to find a way to display the crash relic to the wooden base. 10
Bomber_County Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Congrats Jeroen, absolutely brilliant...... 3
HubertB Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 The smaller base is better proportioned, but, if I may, I would offset the pic so that the crash location does not fall just under the Wellington rear fuselage. Hubert 1

Hubert You're right and i did tingle with it, but in the end i wanted to show the four roads surrounding the site and I did like the fact the crash location was right under it.. I'm anal that way 2
FME erk Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Thats not bad at all, an absolute credit to your skill and dedication. Congrats on building a tribute to those who gave everything, I salute you for your contribution. David 1
