I received this for Christmas. I have not built any modern stuff before so looking forward to getting my teeth into this. I also enjoyed finding out what its role is. It will have to wait until my Lee Lulubelle is finished though.

Martin sure knows how to slap a guy down with massive trauma and self loathing, and then shock him back to life again.

Honestly, I’d rather build 100 Anigrand and Amodel bubbly resin kits than a Trumpeter P-40. Especially now with all the great options out there for P-40s…

AND, to get me cussing right at first, he wrapped the box for shipping using transparent blue cellophane. I started the death wishes the moment it showed up on my doorstep. I figured it was payback for the Chernobyl Boy incident in Phoenix.

There is only one person who can handle WNW Ninak in a grand fashion and its not me, so there :)

And yes the getto semi-transparent wrap exposing that eye-catching box art was part of the ploy. I am so evil and that makes me very happy.image.jpeg

My last purchase of 2022 is a precious tiny jewel, despite being large scale. When I was a kid in West Berlin, there were still some of these quirky vehicles around, polluting the air with their two stroke engines, often used by coal dealers. I have a soft spot for unusual designs, and I couldn't let this one pass.

Cheers Rob

Hats off to MiniArt for their very diverse and quirky catalog, looking forward to the build……..

No pic, because it’s well known, and above all I am lazy ;) ,but, after two months stuck in a Portuguese warehouse waiting for CTT ( the Portuguese Post) to handle it, I finally received my Jetmads Viggen  :)

Plus some goodies to kitbash a famous 40’ song, using a conversion set still on its way from Ukraine …

Right with Phil and Harv- please do a WIP build. I check every day to see if the Revell Hurricane is available - and nothing yet in the states - doesn't seem to be available in Canada either. Matter of fact, we still haven't even had an opportunity to purchase the Airfix 1/24 Spit 🙁
