Administrators Clunkmeister Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM Administrators Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM Guys, this is the hardest thing I’ve had to say in a long, long time, but early this morning, our longtime friend, confidant, and the King of Likes, Harv Boyer, passed peacefully into the open arms of our Risen Savior. Harv was known for his huge heart and was always there to help others when they needed helping. There will be a Service in Shell Knob, Missouri within the next couple weeks, so watch this space for news. Ernie 1 9

GusMac Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Just saw this and it's a real shock. As others have said, never met Harv but you did feel you knew him, His input was always so upbeat and encouraging and he made this a great place to be. 6
Reuben L. Hernandez Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Just found out about Harv’s passing through Bev, his lovely wife. I meet Harv and Bev a few years ago, while he and Bev were in San Antonio, TX., for a convention. Only meet them both for a few hours, broke bread, went to a few local hobby stores and just talked. He made me feel like I knew him all my life. Was very kind and funny. We messaged each other, through out the years and through his ordeal, and always asked how I was doing, and always said, “I love you buddy.” After every conversation. With Harv, he genuinely meant it, they just weren’t words, Bev confirmed this. The world is sadder today, because our modeling brother has left us. Our Father has called Harv home, his job on earth is finished. May Harv Rest in Peace and may the Lord bring Peace to Bev and the entire family, during this time. Just a bit of our conversation today: “Hi Reuben, I remember you Yes, my dear Harvey passed away yesterday morning early in the morning I don’t really know exactly what happened, but I do know if he ran out of breath He loved you guys all of you just know that please.” ”World War II airplanes was his life! He loved models he loved you guys he loved the camaraderie he loved buying selling and trading airplane models.” Im proud to call Harv my “buddy.” Reuben 4 2
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted 14 hours ago Author Administrators Posted 14 hours ago Services will most likely be on March 26th in Shell Knob, Missouri. Bev told me that she wants me to take some of his kits, and if so, I’ll post pictures up here, and in the true spirit of Harv, they’ll be distributed free of charge to members of LSM. Eagle Transmission Services (my corporation) will pay shipping and duties. My wife Joy will live stream the Service. I’ll be scarce till then, but will be back here full time after that. 4 1
belugawhaleman Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago When I was new here, he was among the first members to reach out to me. I remember one of my first builds was a Takom Ft 17.....he would always be the first to give me a "like" and I found that very encouraging and supportive. I regret never meeting him or having more correspondence with him...I regard him as a kind gentleman in the truest sense and a true positive influence on this forum. I wish his family all my condolences. Harv, May God grant you everlasting peace. 3
mark31 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago so sorry to hear. Rest in peace Harv you will be missed. Mark 3
TJTX Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Can we donate towards the kits to help Bev instead of them being free? Maybe a go fund me style thing where money used for kit purchases helps buy her some nice meals so she doesn't have to cook for a bit. 4
