BlrwestSiR
Hi folks, So I met with the surgeon today and have been told I'll be joining the zipper chest club tomorrow morning. The triple bypass should be about 3 hours long and then off to recovery I go. Then it's 5-7 days here before discharge and home for another 6 weeks of recovery. Which means I should be as good as new in time for Christmas. I'll let you all know once I'm functional after the operation. See you all soon. Administrators Clunkmeister Posted October 29, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2019 You'll be in our thoughts and prayers, Carl. You’ll be on the mend and back to normal soon enough, so take it easy and do everything exactly as the medical team request. That way, you don’t have Nurse Ratched smack the side of your head too often. 3

Ryan
Hey Carl, I am a member of the zipper chest club! (stroke at 18 and 30 linked to a hole in the heart.) You don't realize how much you rely on the chest till it's healing. The worst for me was coughing and sneezing, the rest is well rest. Good luck to you man. 5
